Start from the audit. To do that be sure that you can measure the test chart (have a compatible instrument). If not create an equivalent version that you can measure. The principle is simple: TC1617 test form (1617 color samples) has to be printed and data analyzed with Print Inspector

Important notes:

• For proofer don't apply SCCA - keep it always off!
• Be sure to evaluate to simulation profile - be sure that the track selection matches your RIP settings
• Load the proofing paper that can successfully render simulated (L* value should be at visible higher)
• Don't forget to use the CC Measurement Backer
• Wait after printing to measure dry inks.
