No Instrument Color Grid
Color Grids can be created by selecting a color from an Asset in your Color Library. The centralized Color Libary can be used to share the definition of colors and printed in a Grid format so the designer identifies the correct definitions based on the variation that exists between printing devices.
Use your Operator login or the DefaultOperator login:
Go to www.chromachecker.com - and choose login (see below)
Enter your Organizational name “Company Login Name" and the operator user name and password.
Next choose GRID:
Under Grid, you can choose the color you want to make a grid from by typing in LAB values or using the Chromaspot ALFA library which uses descriptive names to select your grid color.
Then you will download the PDF of the grid to choose the build of your color, and print. You can experiment to see if making the PDF as RGB, CMYK or Lab is best for your workflow. Which RIP are you using?
