Qmini
A spectroradiometer that fits in a pocket.
The Broadcom Qwave Qmini is a miniature CCD spectroradiometer - 2500 pixels, about a third of a nanometre each across the visible range - driven over USB.
What it does for you
Spectral measurement usually means an instrument that lives on a bench. The Qmini goes where the light is: into the booth, up to the luminaire, next to the display.
Its resolution is high enough that narrow-band LED sources, which fool filter-based instruments completely, are measured for what they are.
What you can do
- Full visible spectrum at high resolution
- Emissive measurement for displays, booths and light sources
- USB-powered, no separate supply
Getting started
Enable Qmini in the Plugin Manager and connect the instrument over USB.
Part of ChromaChecker CC Capture. Plugins are enabled in Plugins -> Plugin Manager. This page describes the plugin as of CC Capture 4.0.570.
