Messenger
Ask the person who knows, without leaving the job.
Messenger is team chat inside CC Capture, with an unread badge on its toolbar icon.
What it does for you
Colour questions are usually one sentence long and urgent: is this batch the new ink?, did prepress send v3? Walking to find someone costs ten minutes; a phone means the answer is on a phone and not in the record.
Chat inside the application puts the answer next to the work, and leaves it where the next shift can read it.

Getting started
Enable Messenger in the Plugin Manager and sign in.
Worth knowing: a conversation is held on the server and can be read later by anyone with access to it - it is a record, not a private aside. See the Messenger plugin terms.
