Installing CC Capture

Download, install, and connect your first measurement instrument.

Installing CC Capture

CC Capture is the main desktop application for ChromaChecker. It connects your measurement instrument to the cloud, handles data upload, and provides pass/fail reporting for all supported Inspectors. Runs on Mac and Windows. Included with every Print tracking subscription.

System Requirements

Full measured requirements for CC Capture 4.0 — macOS, Windows, display, network hosts, and disk space — are on the System Requirements page. Instrument support and OS-upgrade caveats are in Known Limitations.

  • 1.5 GB free disk space; 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended for soft proofing)

  2. Windows: run the .exe setup file and follow the installer wizard.
  3. Mac: open the .dmg package and drag CC Capture to your Applications folder.
  4. Connect your instrument via USB before launching CC Capture, so the operating system recognises it.
  5. Launch CC Capture. On first start you will see the Connect Window — log in with your ChromaChecker account and select your instrument.
  6. If the instrument is not detected, check that the correct drivers are installed, or consult the troubleshooting guide.
